Inventory #4: Conceal my life away

Inventory #4: Do I need any of this besides undereye concealer?

So after a long hiatus, I'm finally getting the next part of my inventory count done. So far my concealer count is still the same, which is good given that my pictures were actually taken in May!

Firmer concealers

1. NARS Concealer in Vanilla/Honey 4g: already outdated

2. Lancome Effacernes Longue Tenue 15ml

3. NYX Concealer in a Jar in CJ13 Orange 7g (what was I thinking?! Orange is not peach)

4. Revlon Photoready Concealer in Medium 3.2g

5. Everyday Minerals Concealer - Intensive Medium 5.5g

Liquid types

6.  YSL Touche Eclat - 2 2.5ml

7. Clinique Airbrush Concealer in 03 Light 1.5ml

8. Maybelline AngelFit Concealer in 01 Light Beige

9. L'oreal Instant Double Concealer 10g

10. Garnier Light B.B. eye roll-on 15ml

11. Unopened Japanese concealer

Woot, concealer is probably my hardest category to use up, I'm still stuck on the NARS Vanilla/Honey concealer that just won't die! Definitely don't need anymore for the next 5 years.

Haul from China, Shanghai

So I went on a trip to Shanghai towards the end of July and couldn't resist the counters selling makeup there. Interestingly, many brands such as Bourjois and Max Factor have stands selling makeup in departmental stores instead of being located in a beauty store. However, this time round, I decided to browse the Sephora and Mac store in the departmental store near my hotel.

With my no-buy approaching soon, I bought a large quantity of....

3 items.

1. Clinique Chubby Stick in 02 Whole lotta honey

A sheer peachy nude for me.

2. Dior Addict Extreme in 639 Riveria

An orange with a dose of red in it, much sheerer than what the colour in the tube suggests. My very first Dior lipstick, and all I can say is that the packaging is so bulky.

3. MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul

Finally something that I've been lemming after for at least a year ever since iMAclover21 recommended it in her youtube channel. As proof that I bought it from China, here's the list of ingredients printed in Chinese.

Sometimes the labels are just stick-ons though (as seen above) and when you peel it off, you can see the english text beneath.

Buying cosmetics in China is expensive and the range is limited. If you have the opportunity, buy it in US or just shop at duty free instead. Don't be like me, regretting my purchases once I calculated exactly how much I spent given the exchange rate...

Project 100 Makeup Pan Update: Month 1

Though I'm only doing video updates every 3 months, the blog would be a good place to showcase the monthly items that I've hit pan on. Finished items won't be shown, so you have to watch the video updates to know the good stuff :) of course, I can only show pans of items that actually has pan, but this would be a good way to touch base, rather than showing a whole bunch of items that I seemingly finished all at once during the same period.

All the lovely items that I've hit pan on

In a clockwise direction: Elf Warm Bronzer, NARS Concealer in Vanilla/Honey, Canmake Cream Cheek in 02, BRTC BB Sun Pact, ZA True White 2 way Powder Foundation, Revlon Matte Powder Blush in Smoky Rose (my first blush ever!) The green sticker means that I need to finish these items up asap, preferably within the year as they are expiring/has expired already.

Unfortunately, though I plan to purchase an item for every 10 makeup item used... I caved and bought the adorable summer collection of Majolica Majorca since it was soo cute! And who can stand cute things?

Candy! Sweets! Orange-pink! Stripes!

In a clockwise direction: Yellowish cream shade, Bluish pink shade, apple pink and a mid toned brown.

Majolica Majorca Jeweling Eyes in 77 or Candy Apple :) Maybe I'll do a review soon since I can't find any on the Internet since Lavender Sugar is seemingly the more popular choice. Not a great big fan of purples myself but I looovvve reds.

Tabby

Bellabox Singapore August 2012 box!

This month's box is an awesome one, filled to the brim with goodies!

A small cloth bag with the cutest print ever. I use it as a laundry bag in college. Do give it a first wash as it has a raw smell typical of cloth bags of this nature.

This month's card is also so adorable! *squeals*

Some of the discount vouchers and pamplets of the products found this month's edition of the Bellabox.

A nice little pamplet of the Skin79 BB cream range so that you know which BB creams serve which function. A $5 off any Skin79 product bought from SASA was included inside as well! (Not that I'm going to use this anytime soon)

Finally, a list of this month's items!

1.  Enavose Probiotics Exfoliance Gommage: Exfoliating scrub meant to be used on dry skin. Sample size - 15ml.

2. Facial Fresh Vitamin C Cloth Facial Treatment Mask: I don't find this particularly amazing, the packaging is horrendous difficult to pry apart and there is residue lotion at the bottom of the pack, dripping out when you take out the mask and creating a mess. Moreover the fit is pretty loose since I prefer stretched tight fitting masks. Definitely won't rebuy. This mask has a value of $10.95. I think a box of My Beauty Diary masks feels so much better than this!

3. CLIO Smudgeproof Brush Liner - Kill Slim: I have yet to try this korean brand out yet since I'm currently using my Dollywink eyeliner so will give a review once I try it out.

4. China Glaze in Hawaiian Punch - Another full size nail polish, which beauty boxes seem to love giving! It's a pinky red, very bright and summery, perfect for August.

5. L'oreal Paris Dermo- Expertise Youth Code Boosting Essence: Meant to soften the skin and enhance skin texture. This is such a small bottle so I shall try it soon and hopefully I'll be able to tell the difference.

6. Skin79 VIP Gold Super+ Beblesh Balm, sample size: Finally, I get a chance to try the counter part to my Hot Pink BB cream and it seems so much better and a far better colour match! There is still grey cast to it but it's somehow a lot more tolerable, perhaps because it's fresher....

A wonderful Bellabox for the month, much better than the July box!

Tabby approves!
